How to choose LED lights for our car?

In some cases in more luxury vehicles, the LEDs are embedded in the factory, but still there are times when owners alone decide to replace these items. For that purpose some details have to be observed such as their socles which have different standards:

•  H1 – they are inexpensive and with long service life;
•  H3 – they are characterized by reduced power consumption. It can be used in fog without risk of overheating and cracks;
•  H4 - the plinth is designed in the form of three pins. In many car models they are used by default;
•  H7 – they are intended for dipped-beam and fog lights. Presented in different shapes and colors they are ideal for main lights;
•  H11 - best option for fog lamps.

What should you know when choosing lights?

Considering the above mentioned indicators you have to see where to place the lamp (in the lounge, headlights, tail lights, number). They are divided into several types - High Power, Super bright SMD, Super Flux, High flux.

The first are characterized by its high value and power of 1 to 5W, distinguished by high luminous efficacy - up to 200 lumens. We recommend the use of the second type of lamps because they have very good price / quality ratio. The third are characterized by their low price, but also by the reduced optical characteristics and brightness.
Moreover, for the body, trunk and glove compartment are used LED type festoon (with cap SV8,5, marking 3175 / C5W / C10W), although in some cars T10 is also used. The common sizes for these lamps are 31, 36, 39 and 42 mm.
